these are sometimes triple or quadruple features actually, each with a suggested pairing

1. Sinners (2025) followed by Near Dark (1987), paired with a 40-ounce foam cup of soda from a gas station (as a treat) and the sound of summer cicadas while the sun sinks into tasseled cornfields and you pray that you are alone

2. Barry Lyndon (1975) then Tom Jones (1963), paired with a liter of hard cider in a parking lot as you banter and tussle with the lads

3. Episodes of Tales from the Crypt interleaved with episodes of Absolutely Fabulous, paired with Bollinger champagne and a scheming lover who falls down the stairs mysteriously
